Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can clams (not drained)
    6 to 8 strips bacon, fried and crumbled
    3 to 4 medium potatoes, diced
    1 large onion, diced
    1 can condensed cream celery soup
    1 large can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. red pepper flakes
Preparation
    Fry bacon in large
    pot
    until crisp.
    Remove bacon and set aside.
    Brown onions in
    bacon
    fat.
    Add
    red
    pepper and potatoes.
    Cover with water
    and cook until potatoes are soft. Add clams and simmer a few minutes.
    Add soup, milk and bacon. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
