Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen whipped topping
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (undrained)
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Melt oleo in microwave at 100% power for 30 to 40 seconds and combine with pretzels.
    Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan and microwave, uncovered, at 70% to 80% power for 2 to 4 minutes.
    Set aside and let cool.
    Mix cream cheese, topping and powdered sugar and spread over crust.
    Place in refrigerator to partially set.
    In an 8-cup container, heat 2 cups of water and add gelatin.
    Heat an additional minute or two at 100% power until gelatin is completely dissolved.
    Add strawberries and pineapple and refrigerate until partially set.
    Pour on top of other two layers and refrigerate until very firm.
