Chocolate Raisin Bread "Pudding" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) loaf cinnamon-raisin bread
    3 c. milk
    1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 3-quart baking dish.
    Cut bread slices in half diagonally.
    Arrange in baking dish so slices overlap slightly.
    In saucepan, heat milk and cocoa powder over medium-low heat until cocoa is dissolved.
    Remove from heat. Stir in heavy cream, sugar, eggs and vanilla until blended. Pour mixture over bread; let stand 15 minutes.
    Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
    Cool completely on wire rack.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
    Ready to serve in 2 hours and 15 minutes when
    cool.
