Noodle Goulash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. fat
1 lb. ground beef
1 average to large onion, minced
2 c. diced celery
5 to 6 oz. uncooked noodles
1 (No. 1) can tomatoes
3/4 c. shredded cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 small can water chestnuts (optional)
Preparation

Brown the ground beef in the hot fat.
Add onion and celery. Cook, stirring often, until opaque (approximately 10 minutes). Gently mix in the hot, drained noodles, cooked according to directions.
Add tomatoes, cheese, salt, pepper and chestnuts. Let slowly simmer or put in greased 2-quart casserole and bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
If baking in a casserole, shred more cheese over the top.
