Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    3 egg yolks
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 or 3 bananas
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Add milk slowly and heat.
    Add eggs by putting a small amount of milk into egg mixture.
    Stir constantly until it boils - add butter and vanilla. Put 1 sliced banana in bottom of mazola oil baked pie shell. (see pastry section).
    Add small amount of cream mixture and more bananas, then cover with cream filling.
    Chill several hours.
    Top with real whipped cream or meringue.
