Greek Chicken Oregano - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) fryer or chicken breast
    oil or melted butter
    2 lemons, squeezed
    salt and pepper
    3/4 tsp. oregano
    4 oz. butter
    water (as needed)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Cut fryer into serving pieces.
    Brush with oil or butter.
    Place in 10 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Add 1/2 cup water and bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes, basting frequently.
    Reduce heat to 50\u00b0; mix lemon juice with 1/4 cup water and pour over chicken.
    Season well with salt, pepper and oregano. Dot with butter.
    Bake an additional hour, basting frequently, turning over to cook evenly.
