Joanne'S Potluck Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
    1 small pkg. lemon Jell-O
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. grated carrots
    1 c. nuts
    1/2 c. whipped cream or 1 carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Add enough water to pineapple juice to make 1 1/2 cups.
    Boil this liquid, then take from heat and dissolve Jell-O into it.
    Add sugar and lemon juice.
    Place in fridge until slightly thickened. Add pineapple, carrots and nuts and fold in whipped cream or Cool Whip.
