Pineapple Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. milk, scalded and cooled
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 cake yeast
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 yolks, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm milk; set aside.
    Sift flour, then measure.
    Add butter and mix as for pie crust.
    Add yeast and milk mixture and eggs; mix well.
    Divide dough into 2 parts.
    Roll one part to fit a 12 x 18-inch sheet pan, then spread cooled filling over dough.
    Roll remaining dough to fit over the top.
    Let rise until light, about 1 hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until brown.
    Frost with thin frosting and sprinkle with chopped nuts or coconut.
