Molasses Drop Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. oil
    1 egg
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Mix sugar and spices; add oil, molasses plus well beaten egg. Stir in sifted flour, salt and soda.
    Add boiling water.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream topping with shaved crystallized ginger.
    Makes 8 to 9 large cupcakes.
