Brownie Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. Crisco shortening
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine Crisco, sugar, water and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until blended.
Beat eggs into mixture. Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt.
Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until just blended.
Stir in chocolate chips by hand. Drop by spoonfuls of cookie sheet.
Bake in oven for 7 to 9 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Makes about 3 dozen.
