Pineapple Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. oil
    1 large can crushed pineapple and juice
    1 small can Pet milk
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Bake the first 6 ingredients in a 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan for 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Boil next 3 ingredients slowly for 10 minutes, then add nuts and coconut.
    Spread over cake while hot.
