Lemon Angel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    4 egg whites
    1/2 c. bread flour
    1/2 grated rind of lemon
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until light and stiff.
    Add the sugar gradually to form a meringue.
    Stop beating and fold in the flour and cream of tartar sifted together.
    Add lemon and turn into ungreased angel food cake tin in an oven at a temperature of 325\u00b0.
    When baked, turn over on an icing frame to cool.
    When cold, remove from the form and ice all over with a lemon icing.
