Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. black walnuts, chopped
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. maple flavoring
Preparation

Blend first four ingredients.
Add flour and blend.
Add buttermilk, and maple flavoring.
Blend.
Pour in greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Let cool in pan. Turn out on serving plate, poke holes on top with straw while warm.
Spoon glaze over top.
