Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bags cranberries
    2 c. cold water
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 large pkg. cherry Jello
    1 c. chopped apples
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped oranges
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Wash and clean cranberries and place in a large pan.
    Add water to cranberries and cook for 5 minutes, then add sugar and continue to cook over a medium heat until all the berries have popped. (Around 1/2 hour).
    Remove from heat and add Jello, apples, nuts, oranges and celery, making sure mixture is stirred well.
    Pour into pans and place in refrigerator until mixture is jelled, best if it sets for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator. Cut and serve.
    Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
