Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped raisins or dates
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening, white sugar, egg, brown sugar and persimmon pulp together.
    Add flour, cinnamon, vanilla, raisins or dates, nutmeg, salt, baking powder and chopped pecans.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
