Quick Chunk Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 quart plus 1/2 cup vinegar
    2 1/2 cups water
    5 cups sugar
    1/4 cup salt
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    16 to 20 medium cucumbers cut into chunks
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and boil for five minutes.
    Pack your pickle chunks into pint jars.
    Pour the juice over and fill jars leaving 1/2
    inch of space at top of jar.
    Wash off the top of the jar and put lid and ring on jar.
    Put into canner and cover jars with hot water.
    Make sure they boil for five minutes.
    Take jars out of canner and put on dry cloth to cool.
    Makes about 10 pints.
