Armenian Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. rice
    1/2 c. vermicelli, broken up
    3 c. hot chicken or beef broth
    salt to taste
    1/3 c. onions, chopped
Preparation
    Brown rice in butter in Dutch oven.
    Add vermicelli and coat with butter.
    Add onions.
    Stir in broth and salt.
    Cover and bake for 30 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
    Remove cover, stir rice carefully with a fork and bake 10 additional minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
