Praline Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 lb. pkg. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the chopped pecans over the bottom of pan; set aside.
    Combine sugars, butter and shortening; cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Add vanilla, then fold in remaining 1 cup pecans.
