Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten until foamy
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. scalded milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 slices bread, cubed
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix the first 3 ingredients together, then add milk and vanilla.
    Add bread and raisins.
    Put into a buttered casserole. Add the milk mixture.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Put casserole in pan of water.
    Bake 10 minutes in a 450\u00b0 oven, then 40 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
