Marinated Chevre (Goat Cheese) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 log goat or sheep's milk cheese (available at local farm or health food stores)
1/4 to 1/3 c. best quality olive oil
assorted dried and fresh herbs (I use dill, rosemary, coriander and basil) to taste
pink peppercorns (optional, but very pretty)
freshly ground pepper
Preparation

Place goat cheese (Chevre) on a plate.
Sprinkle dried or fresh herbs on top.
Pour olive oil over cheese and let marinate for at least 1 hour.
Serve with good quality crackers or French bread.
