Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. granulated sugar
4 c. pared, sliced tart apples
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 tsp. softened butter or margarine
Preparation

Mix granulated sugar with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle over apples and mix lightly.
Spread apples; mix lightly.
Spread apples in a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
Sprinkle with water.
Blend flour, salt, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar.
Mix in butter to make a crumbly mixture.
Spread over apples. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes, or until lightly browned and apples are tender.
