Chocolate Scotcheroos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Kellogg's Rice Krispies
    6 oz. or 1 c. Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    6 oz. or 1 c. Nestle's butterscotch morsels
Preparation
    Cook sugar and corn syrup in 3-quart saucepan, over moderate heat, until mixture boils.
    Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter.
    Mix in Rice Krispies.
    Press into buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Let harden.
    Melt over hot (not boiling) water semi-sweet morsels and butterscotch morsels; stir to blend.
    Spread over cereal mixture.
    Chill about 5 minutes, until top is firm.
    Cut into bars.
    Yields 48 (2 x 1-inch) bars.
