Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. peeled, sliced potatoes
    1/4 c. onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    In a greased 2-quart casserole, arrange potatoes in 3 layers, sprinkling each layer with 1 tablespoon onion, 1 tablespoon flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper to taste and 1 tablespoon butter or margarine.
    Heat milk to scalding.
    Pour over the potatoes.
    Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 60 minutes or until tender.
    Let stand 5 or 10 minutes before serving.
