Fruit Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. dry mincemeat, crumbled
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Add sugar gradually to eggs, beating well.
    Stir in sifted dry ingredients, mincemeat and nuts.
    Pour into a pan about 9 x 14-inches, greased and lined with waxed paper.
    Bake in a slow oven, 300\u00b0, for 30 minutes.
    Cut while warm into narrow strips and roll in powdered sugar.
    Yields 36 bars.
