Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. water
2 cakes yeast
6 c. flour
1 egg

Preparation

Scald milk.
Add sugar, salt and shortening, stirring until shortening is melted.
Add 1/2 cup water.
Cool to lukewarm.
