Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes (2 lb.)
    salt and pepper to taste
    minced onion to taste
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. grated cheese
    corn flakes
Preparation
    Thaw hash brown potatoes.
    Add salt, pepper, onion, 1/2 cup butter, soup, sour cream and cheese.
    Top with crumbled corn flakes and 1/4 cup butter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
