Strawberry Crunch Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. thin pretzel sticks, broken
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    2 c. frozen whipped topping
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen strawberries
Preparation
    Combine pretzel pieces, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 7 minutes.
    Remove and allow to cool thoroughly.
