Cranberry Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. cranberry cocktail
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
    2 (28 oz.) bottles chilled ginger ale
    1 pt. raspberry sherbet
Preparation
    Mix cranberry cocktail, lemon juice and sugar.
    May be mixed day before using.
    Mix with ginger ale carefully and pour over sherbet in punch bowl.
    Serve in punch cups.
    Yields 30 servings.
