Ingredients

1 tsp. whole cloves
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 qt. apple cider
Preparation

Beat spices with hammer; tie in cheesecloth bag.
Add spices and sugar to cider; bring to a boil.
Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove spice bag; serve hot or cold.
Yields 20 servings.
