Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. water
    6 potatoes, grated
    1 onion, grated
    1 carrot, grated
    1/4 c. approximately Miller's soup base
    1/3 c. margarine or butter
    1 can evaporated milk
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
    pepper to taste
    1 or 2 tsp. parsley for color
Preparation
    Bring water to boil; add potatoes, onion, carrots and soup base. Cook until tender.
