Hrustuli(A Yugoslavian Pastry) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
5 eggs, beaten
17 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 lb. flour
Preparation

Heat the milk and butter to hot in a pot.
Mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla, baking powder and salt in a bowl and beat well.
Add hot milk with butter to the mixture.
Beat well.
Add the flour.
Add enough where dough gets thick.
Knead dough.
Roll into long rolls and cut 4 to 5 pieces to each roll.
Roll out each section, dusting with flour, flat.
Cut strips and make into bows.
Fry in Wesson oil.
Remove and put in bowl and sprinkle with sugar when hot.
A pastry treat; you can't eat just one!
