Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. molasses
1/4 c. shortening
Preparation

Mix together dry ingredients.
Add milk and eggs.
Mix thoroughly.
Stir in molasses and shortening. Pour into 8 x 8-inch shallow pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
