Hot Dog Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburg
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    1 can tomato paste
    1 onion, cut very fine
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    turmeric to taste
Preparation
    Brown hamburg and onion.
    Add water and stir until mixture is fine in texture.
    Add other ingredients and simmer about 3/4 hour. Makes about a quart.
    Can be frozen.
