Rolled Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add milk to make a stiff dough.
    Roll out to about 1/8 inch thickness and cut into 1-inch squares, 1 to 1 1/2-inch strips or diamonds. Sprinkle lightly with flour and drop into boiling ham broth.
    Cover loosely and boil gently for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
