Pig Pickin' Cake* - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines Butter Recipe cake mix
    1/4 c. oil (Crisco, Mazola or Puritan)
    4 eggs
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges with juice
    1 (8 or 9 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 large can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding (use dry; do not prepare pudding)
Preparation
    Blend well.
    (I find it easier to mix the pudding powder and the pineapple together first, then mix in the Cool Whip.)
    Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
