Lord'S Chili Verde - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew meat
    dash of tenderizer
    1/2 c. water
    1 medium onion
    1/8 tsp. dried garlic chips
    4 oz. Ortega green chilies
    1/2 c. medium hot salsa
    2 slices toast
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 can peeled tomatoes
    cumin to taste
Preparation
    Put stew meat into crock-pot with tenderizer and water.
    Add garlic chips and onion, chopped.
    Cook onion for 1/2 hour.
    Chop green chilies; add to meat.
    Add the rest of the ingredients except for the toast and tomatoes, then cook on low for about 2 hours.
    When almost ready to serve, add the toast and tomatoes. Let stand for a few minutes.
    Serve with warm tortillas.
