My Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 c. buttermilk or enough for a soft dough
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt (more if desired)
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Cut in Crisco with pastry blender.
    Add buttermilk and knead well to soft dough.
    Cut out into biscuits and bake at 400\u00b0 until brown (12 to 15 minutes).
    Makes 12 to 15 biscuits.
