Peanut Butter Chocolate Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 egg
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3 doz. milk chocolate kisses or stars
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix cup sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, margarine and egg thoroughly.
Stir in flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake until edges are light brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
Immediately press candy kisses firmly in each cookie; cool.
Makes 3 dozen.
