Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. granulated sugar
6 Tbsp. cocoa (unsweetened)
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped fine
1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed
1 1/4 c. cold water
ice cream (optional)
Preparation

Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, oil and vanilla until just blended.
Fold in nuts. Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread level.
