Linda'S Famous Corn Cob Jelly - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 corn cobs
1 pkg. Kool-Aid (any flavor)
4 c. sugar
red food coloring (optional)
1 box Sure-Jell
Preparation

Cover corn cobs with 4 cups water.
Bring to boil and cook for 10 minutes.
Strain.
Pour 3 cups juice in saucepan and add enough water to make 3 cups liquid, if necessary.
Add 2 or 3 drops red food coloring.
Add dry Kool-Aid.
Add Sure-Jell.
Bring to boil.
Add sugar; cook over high heat for 1 minute.
Pour into 5 medium jelly jars.
Cover with 1/8-inch melted paraffin.
