Sweet Almond Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chicken breast halves
    2 tsp. butter, melted
    1/2 c. red currant jelly
    1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    1/3 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Place chicken in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Drizzle with melted butter.
    Combine jelly and next 5 ingredients in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until jelly dissolves, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
    Let cool slightly.
    Stir in almonds.
    Pour half of jelly mixture over chicken.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 5 additional minutes or until done.
    Baste with remains of jelly. Broil chicken 4 inches from heat.
    Makes 6 servings.
