Crock-Pot Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped onion
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up (2 c.)
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can dark red kidney beans, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce (1 c.)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    In a heavy skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is browned. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer in crock-pot 4 to 6 hours.
    Remove bay leaf before serving.
