Apple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 medium apples (unpeeled), sliced 1/4 inch thick
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose baking flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt the 2 tablespoons butter in a 9 x 9 x 2-inch square baking pan.
    Sprinkle the 1/2 cup brown sugar over the butter, then sprinkle the nuts over that.
    Arrange thin slices of unpeeled apples in rows over the sugar, butter and nuts.
    Sprinkle with lemon juice and set aside.
