Leeks Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium leeks
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 c. fresh bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook leeks; place in baking dish.
    In 1-quart saucepan over low heat, melt butter, stir in flour, mustard and salt until smooth. Gradually stir in milk; cook, stirring until thickened.
    Stir in cheese until melted; pour mixture over leeks.
    Sprinkle with crumbs.
    Broil to brown crumbs.
