Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 or 3 c. sugar
    6 egg yolks, beaten
    2 c. lemon extract
    5 c. flour
    1 lb. white raisins
    1 qt. pecans
    2 (8 oz.) jars candied cherries
    2 (8 oz.) jars candied pineapple
    1 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. water
    6 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Cream butter with sugar.
    Mix 2 cups flour with white raisins. Mix all ingredients except egg whites in large mixing bowl. Fold stiffly beaten egg whites into mixture.
    Bake for 3 hours at 250\u00b0.
