Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and salt.
Add baking soda and flour.
Do not make too stiff; put in refrigerator and chill for 6 hours.
Roll out and cut dough in shapes.
Bake for 8-10 minutes at 325-350\u00b0.
Decorate.
