Half Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs (separated)
    2 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. cake flour, sifted
    2 sticks butter
    vanilla (plenty)
Preparation
    Cream
    butter,\tgradually
    add\tsugar
    until smooth and creamy.
    Add
    yolks and flour alternately, blending well after each addition.
    Beat
    whites
    until
    stiff, but not dry.
    Fold whites into
    sugar\tand butter mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for
    1
    hour or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. This may be doubled to make a full pound.
