Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pretzels, crushed
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. pecans, broken
    1 stick butter
    2 (8 oz.) cartons Cool Whip
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 large pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Mix with pretzels, nuts and sugar.
    Press into 9 x 2 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes; cool.
    Beat together cream cheese, 1 (8 ounce) carton Cool Whip and sugar. Spread on top of pretzel mix.
    Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Add frozen strawberries.
    When thickened, pour over cheese mixture.
    Spread 1 (8 ounce) carton Cool Whip over strawberries.
    Decorate with chopped pecans.
