Dr. Ziment'S Garlic Chicken Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. chicken broth
    2 garlic heads (about 30 cloves, peeled)
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1/4 c. minced cilantro
    2 tsp. lemon pepper
    2 tsp. minced fresh mint leaves
    2 tsp. dried basil, crushed or 2 Tbsp. minced fresh basil
    2 tsp. curry powder
    1 bay leaf
    dried hot red pepper flakes to taste
    2 c. sliced carrots
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a stockpot; bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
    Strain through a sieve, discard bay leaf and puree solids in a blender or food processor. Return broth and puree to the pot.
    Stir well and reheat if necessary.
