4 chicken breast halves (without skin)
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
2 (8 oz.) cans \"no salt added\" tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Brown chicken in hot frying pan.
Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour the mixture over chicken.
Heat the mixture until it boils, then
reduce the heat, cover and cook over low heat until chicken is tender, about 45 minutes.
